What we said on Instagram.

‘The suburbs’ by Arcade Fire is one of our favourite albums ever. The 2010 release by the Canadian indie rock band is probably their best record to date. We’ve heard a lot of people say they aren’t a very good live act, but they were fantastic headliners at Glastonbury in 2014. Arcade Fire’s third album has a constant feeling of movement and changes pace regularly. It’s brighter than their previous albums, Funeral and Neon Bible but they still use the record to comment on the world and how we live, just in a less emotionally heavy and serious way. Does anyone else think that the album cover is the wrong way round? 🤔
